Curse of Bloodshot Manor

Part I - Breakdown of a City

During the War with the Scourge, when Arthas was first corrupted by the touch of frostmourne and became the first Deathknight and champion to the Lich King's will. Though little was known about what he did, rumor has it that he destroyed the city known as Bloodshot Manor. After slaughtering the High Elves and plundering their city, he stretched across and hit the high mountains to save time in order to stay hidden from the constantly planning Dreadlords. Arthas saw the band of towers and buildings and he knew this would make a great kingdom. Fortunately for the city, Arthas had to ressurect Kel'Thuzad first, other wise his plan would fail. In the mean time, Victavious Bloodshot, the King of this estate, had plans against the Scourge. But a scout reported of the waves of undead along with Arthas that passed through his lands. Victavious seemed shocked that a vast army just passed him without causing an outbreak or total war. He sent his son, Artix who was a well-known paladin who belonged to the Silverhand, to scout ahead. His mother followed in order to tell cities that they were to prepare for war. Artix ventured too far, however, and Zafari, the mother of Artix, Fenrin, and Zerix, was killed by stragglers of Undead. When Artix found her body, he grew a deep hatred but kept it under himself in order to prevent himself from corruption which Arthas had failed to do. On Artix's return, he noticed the City grew dark and saw legions of Undead on the outskirts of the city. Fenrin tapped Artix on the shoulder and gave a sign to back away for the citizens were a lost cause. Artix struggled with himself for this decision although seemed important for himself, it felt selfish and his stomach sank. Victavious led waves his knights to defend the keep, including Zerix who stayed behind to protect his father. Zerix was a skilled warrior just as his father was and slayed hundreds of Undead but they were too much to handle. Victavious was slayed by an Abomination as Zerix was injured and unable to move. Arthas picked up Frostmourne and cut down Zerix, executing him for good. Though he killed Zerix, he had plans for him. He raised him as a Champion of Shadows as Zerix became one of the first champions of Arthas.

Part II - Rise of an Army

After merging with Ner'Zhul, Arthas soon took 5 years of resting inside the Frozen Throne. Arthas was creating an army and building up on Deathknights and such as he was preparing for a mass siege over Azeroth. Although the Alliance and Horde formed brief alliances, the Lich King toyed with their ties and they soon attacked each other. He sent Zerix to destroy them as both Stormwind and Orgrimmar were in disarray. But as time went on, just as Sylvanas grew a free will from Arthas's losen grip, Arthas was weakened by Tirion Fordring's fight with him and the light scarred his twisted soul. Zerix soon grew free from his grasp and ran from his grasp. Arthas did not notice it at first, but when his will grew stronger he noticed a great link missing and went to where he felt this missing "link". The Lich King confronted Zerix and they fought, but Arthas had darker powers and much more brutal force. He slayed down Zerix and stole his soul again and this time he kept it for a time being. As he raised more armies and grew stronger and stronger, he soon launched an attack, later, on the Trials of the Crusader.

Part III - Return of a Faded Man

A Necromancer that faced, who no one knew anything about, used Frostmourne in order to gather souls in order to form more armies for the Lich King. He came across Zerix and wanted to test his practices in dark arts and reanimation. Arthas gathered Night Elves and High Elves from wars that Arthas single-handlely destroyed groups of them. Using the blood from a High Elf and a body of a Night Elf he formed a version of the abomination, but was smaller and contained a surprising high amounts of magic due to Elf formalities/charactertistics. Due to their arcane nature, they were able to bend light to their will even as dark as they were. Zerix was the first of this kind, and the Necromancer declared them as "Vayors". Some say in a hidden langauge of blood written by the people who use dark arts it means "returning death". Others say that the name comes from the Necromancer's name. But as Arthas conquered areas, so did Zerix. Zerix re-conquered areas that belonged to him, including some Blood Elf bands that moved back to the area in order to retake their homeland. Zerix brutally murdered these elves and used their blood for later purposes (most likely for the creation of other Vayors). Vayors were similarly to regular Undead in that they were resistant to shadow damage, but they were almost very immune to arcane damage as well. When Arthas had fallen by the hands of heroes and Tirion Fordring, Zerix arose from the ashes of failure and brought success as new Vayors arose and fought for their new champion and leader of the Scourge.
